Apps you will need: X-plore, JbakTaskMan 1.0, CorePlayer 1.25

Nokia s60v3 fp1 hack tutorial

1. Install HelloCarbide.sisx
2. Open HelloCarbide, select Options - Menu1
Hit Yes until it shows you 'Done...probably' then click No some times and app will just crash)
3. Open N-plore, copy file CProfDriver_SISX.ldd to C:\sys\bin
4. Restart phone and install Caps Off
5. Grant full access and copy installserver.exe to C:\sys\bin

Now if you want it by default (in other words after restart):

6. Run JbakTaskMan, press Menu -> 4 -> 1
7. Find CapsOff and press Menu -> 4
8. Check Autostart

1. Open JbakTaskMan
2. Go to processes, find and kill FavouritesSrv.exe
3. Go to C:\Private\100012a5 and delete file DBS_101FD685_BrowserBookmarks.db
4. Now you have only 'Web feeds' and 'Saved pages' in browser)

Allfile downloader

1. Install & run CorePlayer 1.25
2. Go to Options -> Tools -> Preferences, choose Select Page -> File Associations
- mark here some file types you usually NOT download (e.g. .aif, .spx, .tif)
- exit the app
3. Open hidden file C:\data\coreplayer.ext for editing by x-plore file manager
- replace needless file extensions with useful & save changes
4. Now try 2 download some files with extensions you wrote, everything should work properly!)

Changing startup sound

1. Go to Z:\private\10202be9 and copy 101F863.txt to C:\private\10202be9
2. Edit in this file Z:\\system\\sounds\\Wakeup tone.aac to path of the desired tone from Z: drive (if duration is more than 5 secs, then after showing handshake animation tone will play till end with plain white background, if less, then animation will be shown till end)

How to disable screensaver

1. Open JbakTaskMan, enable hidden apps view
2. Find screensaver
3. Kill it (DON'T KILL if you want next step)

Now if you wanna disable it forever:

4. Press Menu -> 3
5. Check 'Kill after boot' and 'Kill after send to back'

'+' & '-' of disabling screensaver:

'-': battery economy mode will be disabled, however, I don't think it will eat a lot more battery than with enabled scrsvr

and, the '+'!!!: I like my smartphone but I call it SMARTphone when it works like my laptop, not like 3310, so, if I want 2 switch screensaver

off like in Windows I CAN switch it off if it disturbs me

3 simple things:

1. Music player: for music lovers like me it's very, very good: when you listen 2 music and player runs in FOREground, after some time screensver

will appear. Ooooh, you listened this track hundred times and you wanna skip it. That's the trick! You press 'down' button, and screensaver

disables, but player is still playing this oldie and you need 2 click button AGAIN 2 play next track. If screensaver is disabled, all works

2. X-plore crash: if you have large memory like mine 8gb, you of course not just say your mates look I have soo many gigas on my phone but you

USE it. I use it a lot and also very frequently copy smth from card 2 phone and vice versa. Or unzipping large archives. If screensaver will

start when X-plore copying smth BIG or (de)compressing archive, it will CRASH and finally you have 2 do operation again. To prevent screensaver,

I press some button so backlight turns on again and process continues. It EATS YOUR TIME! When you disable scrsvr, all will work flawlessly!
3. You wanna see what time is it. You don't pick the whole phone from your pocket but just upper side 2 see the time. But the screensaver...

jumped down! And you pick all the phone.. Disappointing, right? I won't repeat the previous story wat happens if the process is killed
Note, you can say me 'I use some cool scrsvr instead of default clock.' Yeah, but when you use flash animation after some time the CLOCK will

appear! As for another C++ 'clocks' I would say they can lag. On my N70 I've noticed that alternative clock scrsvr lags for a minute, not a big

problem, but not good, right?

Also, phone works faster!!

V-Shaped & HorseShoe Shaped Menu Layout

1. Install Rom patcher.
2. Copy the 'Private' folder to your C:\ drive of phone.
3. Apply C2Z Patch using ROMPatcher & put it to auto. (read c2z.txt in 'c2z' folder how 2 apply it)
4. Change the menu style & you will get the two new style menus

Note: It will replace your current Grid & List menu & you won't be able to access GRID & LIST menu. However the GRID Menu Will show you HORSE SHOE menu & LIST menu will show you V-shaped menu.

Removal Instructions: (Back to old menu)
1. Disable the C2Z patch from ROMPatcher.
2. Change the menu style now. It will be back to normal i.e. Grid & List Menu.
